D-Day Remembered: the Normandy Coast

What's a Trippy?

It's a short visual trip to places of architectural or design importance.

Where are we going?

To the coast of Normandy, France.

What's to see?

There are over 360 miles of dramatic coastline that was the site of the June 6, 1944 D-Day landings and invasion of Allied Forces headed by General Dwight D. Eisenhower, to break the back of the Nazi war machine. Today there are relics of the invasion to tour as well as resorts, busy French market cities, and historic towns like Caen, Bayeax, and Rouen.
