Trippy to: The Royal Exhibition Building, built in Carlton Gardens in 1880 for the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition, and later, the 1888 Centennial International Exhibition. It is one of the few remaining buildings worldwide from the International Exhibition movement, begun in the mid-19th century.

The building and gardens were enscribed on the World Heritage List in 2004.
