Medley - Made for living, made to last

Your home is where you’re relaxed, comfortable, and wearing your soft pants. It’s the cozy nook of the big wide universe we all carve out through a series of careful decisions. It’s where the TV is exactly the right distance from the sofa, family and friends are lovingly framed, and the walls are that super-specific shade you picked out after approximately one million years of agonizing over paint chips. It’s also full of choices you can’t see with the naked eye, including your furniture: it’s not just what it looks like, but what it’s made of and how it was made.

Most mass-produced furniture goes from delivery to landfill in a few years (!!). Frankly, we hate that, and we’ve been in the furniture game long enough to know that there’s a better way. We want you to feel excited about the pieces you choose to make part of your home—not just as soon as you click buy or as soon as it’s delivered, but after it’s held up beautifully years and years (and years!) from now.

Maiden Home - Design-driven luxury for the modern home

When designing my first family home, I looked everywhere for timeless, quality pieces that I loved and would last. It was a search that left me frustrated; designer boutiques were out of reach, but big-box stores served up generic style. Unwilling to settle, I went straight to the source: North Carolina, where I found furniture artisans using heritage techniques passed down through generations. Pairing our intentional design process with their expert artistry, I created a collection of timeless pieces that I was proud to carry into my home. We’ve made it our mission to offer design-driven luxury for the modern home—handcrafted to order for unparalleled comfort and quality.

Burrow - We’re solving the biggest problems in furniture

The furniture industry hadn’t changed in decades. We knew that if we wanted to make a meaningful difference, it wouldn’t be as simple as putting a couch in a box and selling it online. To set a new standard, we had to focus on three fundamental changes: a modular platform, a focus on function and fashion, and an investment in community and experience.

Modular design is the innovative foundation of our furniture. Our big secret? A little bit of inside-the-box thinking. Our first task was to reverse-engineer a luxury sofa to separate into modules, and that ended up unlocking a whole menu of additional benefits.

Inside Weather - smart manufacturing and home-field advantage

When you order your custom piece, we don’t make a thousand of them. We just make yours. The furniture industry is a bit different: they’ll make a bunch and roll the cost of all the ones they don’t sell into the price tag, and the landfill . . . At Inside Weather, we don’t make anything for the inventory or the landfill, only your home.

No matter how neatly we pack it, furniture is big stuff. And unless you want it to take a couple months to arrive, you gotta ship it from the good ol’ US of A. But that means you also have to make it here too. All of this we do proudly from Northern California.

The Citizenry - Fair trade. Guaranteed.

We believe our homes should be reflections of the journeys we take. Our personal spaces deserve designs with a soul, a story, and a purpose. It’s why we travel the world to develop our exclusive collections of home goods. Country by country, we partner with master artisans, blending our modern style with their time-tested techniques.

Through our commitment to providing fair wages, happy working environments, and sustaining grants, our artisan partners are able to take their crafts and their businesses to new places.

By personally traveling to each country and using only local materials, we establish sustainable relationships with our artisans. From there, we sell directly to you online–there is no middleman. This is how we’re able to offer handmade goods, crafted with the highest quality materials, at more reasonable prices than traditional luxury boutiques.

Koskela - We reimagine the spaces where you live, work and learn, for good.

As a Certified B Corporation®, Koskela believes that business can be a force for good™. Our impact is what drives us, and we focus on two causes where we can make a significant difference.

Koskela is committed to tread as lightly as possible on the natural world. We consider our impact on the planet in the way our products are designed, made and what goes into them, as well as in the way we do business. Koskela’s Future Fit program will transition Koskela’s products to a closed loop system and ensure we achieve our goal of lowering carbon emissions to Absolute Zero by 2030 (without offsets). We want to lead the way in an industry that has often been detrimental to the natural world.

Koskela is deeply committed to reconciling with our First Nations history and cultures. One of the ways we do this is to create income earning opportunities for First Nations artists and makers through collaborative design projects. This generates an income independent of Government, helping artists to continue to live a life they have chosen to lead and maintain their traditional practices. It also facilitates artists to access markets outside the traditional art markets, enabling them to tell their stories and showcase their cultures to a broader audience. To date we have collaborated with 49 First Nations artist and art center partners, generating over $1.1 million in income.
